Tip 7: Life Today is Unnaturally Stressful
TIP#7
Welcome back, everyone! Today, we’re talking about Tip Number Seven.
Let’s start with this idea: our lives today are unnaturally stressful. Think back to many years ago when humans were primarily hunter-gatherers. Their biggest stresses revolved around basic survival—finding food, finding shelter, and staying alive. Those types of stresses are completely different from the stresses we face in our modern daily lives.
A great example of this is my drive to work today. I had to sit in traffic, deal with traffic lights, and navigate people cutting in front of me. I was traveling at 0 kilometers an hour on the highway, surrounded by cars and multiple lanes. For some people, this kind of drive alone can be incredibly stressful.
Another example is financial stress. Whether it’s paying off a mortgage, credit card debt, or other financial obligations, these stresses weigh heavily on many of us.
Even the foods we eat have changed drastically. Long ago, people ate food directly from trees or hunted and consumed animals immediately. Today, much of the food we consume is processed, artificial, or loaded with sugars and additives—things our bodies aren’t naturally designed to handle.
Life today is drastically different from when humans first walked the earth, and the stresses we face are unnatural. To stay healthy, we need to find effective ways to manage and deal with these stresses so they don’t burden us or lead to health problems, such as long-term subluxations in our spine.
That’s Tip Number Seven! In the next video, we’ll dive into Tip Number Eight, so stay tuned, and I’ll see you then.
