Welcome. Here’s exactly what to expect.
No guesswork, no rushing. Your first two visits are all about finding the real cause and giving you a clear plan forward.

A welcome from Dr Josh
Three minutes on what happens at your first appointment, the technology we use, and how we build care around your goals.
Visit 1Comprehensive assessment
- Full health history: your symptoms, past injuries, lifestyle and goals
- Thermography nerve scan: thermal imaging with AI-assisted analysis to identify hotspots along your spine
- Full spinal palpation to feel how each segment is moving
- Neurological and orthopaedic tests
- In-house X-rays with motion studies if clinically required, to pinpoint the exact areas of restriction
Visit 2Report of findings
- We walk you through your scans, X-rays and exam results in plain English
- We explain exactly what’s going on and why it’s been coming back
- We map out the path to correct it long term, including how long it’s likely to take
- You ask every question you have. We encourage you to bring your partner or anyone involved in your healthcare decisions. When the people closest to you understand and support your care, it makes a real difference.
A plan with milestones, not a guessing game
Your care plan is built around your results and your goals. We re-assess your thermography scan and progress exams every 12 visits, and at major reviews we compare fresh results against where you started, so you can see how your spine and nervous system have changed.
Most people come to us for pain. Many stay because they discover how much better they can feel, move and function when their body is working the way it’s designed to.

How long is the first appointment?
Your new patient consultation is booked as a 30-minute appointment. If X-rays are needed we take them in-house the same day, so you may be with us a little longer.
Will I be adjusted on my first visit?
Our first priority is understanding what’s going on. We gather all the information on day one, analyse it properly, then explain everything at your report of findings before we start care.
Do I need a referral?
No referral is needed. You can book online or call us directly.
How long until I feel better?
Everyone is different. Many people notice changes early, but lasting change takes longer than symptom relief. Your report of findings will set clear expectations for your situation, and we re-check your progress regularly.
What should I wear?
Comfortable clothing you can move in. Please bring any previous scans or reports you have.
